Stearns produced a sensational sophomore season, posting a 6-2 record with a 2.14 ERA. The southpaw totaled a league-best 73 strikeouts to just 15 walks in 63 innings for the Warriors. Stearns made nine appearances, all starts, and fired six complete games. He also struck out at least 10 batters four times and fired a perfect game with a career-high 13 strikeouts against MassBay CC on April 9.
Morini made great strides during his second season with the Warriors, topping the team in batting average (.407), on-base percentage (.476) and hits (44) as the team's designated hitter. He was also second in RBI (21) and slugging percentage (.472). The sophomore posted at least one hit in 25 of 35 games played, including 12 multi-hit performances. His best game was a perfect 4-for-4 day at the plate, with a double, one RBI and two runs scored in a win at Holyoke CC.
