CONCORD, N.H. ---- The Massasoit men's soccer team captured its third straight victory, defeating New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI), 3-0, on Thursday afternoon.
Massasoit improved its record to 5-4 overall and will host the AIC JV team on Sunday at 1 p.m.
For the second straight match, the Warriors did all their damage in the opening stanza.
Elvis Andrade (Brockton/Penn Foster HS (Pa.)) started the first half scoring spurt by knocking one in off a pass from Jean Barreau (Rockland).
Later on, Sidney Cardoso (Portugal) scored from Andrade and Kessy Alves (Brockton/Southeastern Voc) continued his strong week on the field for the Warriors netting a goal from Cardoso.
Mason Lobo (Brockton) made two saves in net for the shutout.
Massasoit outshot NHTI 38-8 in the victory.
