Men’s Soccer Thumps Springfield Tech
Four different players posted multiple goal performances, spearheaded by a career-best four goals from Sidney Cardoso (Portugal) as the Massasoit men’s soccer team thumped Springfield Tech, 14-0, at Warrior Field on Saturday.

BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Four different players posted multiple goal performances, spearheaded by a career-best four goals from Sidney Cardoso (Portugal) as the Massasoit men's soccer team thumped Springfield Tech, 14-0, at Warrior Field on Saturday.
Massasoit improves to 9-5 overall and 5-2 against regional competition and hosts Roxbury CC on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
The Warriors netted seven goals in each half and finished with 49 shots, 37 coming on net.
Joining Cardoso with multi-goal outings included Kyle McGibbon (Jamaica) with a hat trick, and two each from Kessy Alves (Brockton/Southeastern Voc.) and Jose Erazo (Hyannis).
In addition, Andrew Revanales (Trinidad/Sharon HS) scored a goal and dished out four assists in the victory.
