Revanales Earns Spot On Men’s Soccer NJCAA National Tournament Team

AXTON, Va. ---- Andrew Revanales (Trinidad/Sharon HS) earned a spot on the NJCAA Division I National Tournament Team after his performance for the Massasoit men's soccer team.
Massasoit suffered two tough-luck losses in its first trip to the NJCAA Nationals in 20 seasons. The Warriors fell to top-seed and eventual NJCAA Champion Louisburg College, 3-1, and suffered a 1-0 loss to No. 8 seed Iowa Western.
In the loss to Louisburg, Revanales netted Massasoit's lone goal in the 14th minute of action, which tied the score with the Hurricanes.
Revanales finished with nine shots for the tournament, five on net. His goal against Louisburg was Massasoit's only one at Nationals.
The sophomore striker produced an excellent postseason, netting four of Massasoit's seven goals and assisting on another. He finished the year tops on the team with 22 goals and 14 assists.
