BROCKTON, Mass. ---- Springfield Tech used a late spurt to top the Massasoit women's basketball team, 62-59, on Monday night.
The loss drops the Warriors to 5-8 overall and 2-5 in league action.
Tonaja Lester topped Massasoit with 19 points, followed by Keke Turner (16) and DeAnna Hatcher (10).
The game was tied at 32-all at intermission, and the Warriors held a slight 47-46 edge after three quarters of action.
Massasoit is off until Friday, Feb 25th when the Warriors travel to CCRI in the semifinals of the Region 21 Tournament.
