Liam Brennan (Middleboro) placed fourth in the 110-meter high hurdles at NJCAA National Championship, the best finish in any event in Massasoit track & field history at Nationals, as the Warriors finished with three top-seven performances over the weekend at Howard College.
The Massasoit men’s track & field team will be sending five student-athletes to represent the Warriors at the 2017 NJCAA Track & Field National Championship held at Howard College in Columbia, Maryland, from May 11-13.
Julian Polynice (Brockton) broke the school record in the 400-meter high hurdles and Massasoit posted five top-10 finishes on the men’s side at the Corsair Classic Invitational on Sunday.
The Massasoit track & field team opened the 2017 campaign with a strong showing at Bridgewater State in the Bears Invitational on Saturday, producing seven top-10 finishes, highlighted by freshmen Julian Polynice and Jessica Harris breaking school records.
